This course covered the entire process of creating high-impact campaigns, from assessing client needs to developing an effective creative pitch that communicates brand values through images and concepts. Topics included telling brand stories through images, the art of creative advertising, creative concept creation, developing a production brief that executes creative concepts, and completing a creative pitch to present to the client.

This course explored different aspects of brand identity and the development of creative strategies used to empower brands. Topics included segmentation, perceptual mapping, positioning statements, brand personality, brand image values, brand vision, brand houses, market and category insights, brand identity, logos and colors, consumer usage and purchase behavior, psychographics, and a capstone project involving the creation of a fully developed brand strategy and identity.
Throughout this program, I gained hands-on experience with UX design tools and followed the design process from beginning to end: empathizing with users, defining pain points, ideating solutions, creating wireframes and prototypes, and testing and iterating on designs. I also learned to apply foundational UX concepts Like user-centered design, accessibility, and equity-focused design. Projects included a mobile app, a responsive website, and a cross-platform experience.

Achieving a TEFL certification has allowed me to master concepts including education principles, motivational strategies, instructional design, and communication methods in relation to teaching.
Korea University
Achieving a certification in Korean Language has allowed me to develop my language skills and gain a deeper understanding of linguistics and language acquisition. Since achieving this certification, I have continued my study of Korean language.
Fashion Institute of Technology
Achieving a certification in Events has allowed me to develop a thorough understanding of the planning process and research involved in in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. The program explored the fundamentals of various types of events and their publicity, creative storytelling through social media, how to bring an event from planning to staging, and pre-event and post-event activities. Projects throughout the course included media alerts, event invitations, event proposals, media and talent lists, and event timelines.

By studying the theories and models taught in the Integrated Marketing Communications course, I learned how to use advertising, public relations, and marketing strategies to create valuable brands and win consumers. This course provided insight on the most important issues to consider when planning and evaluating marketing communications plans and executions.
